Green building, in fact, any kind of building, hasn’t really happened in the small WA fishing town of Augusta in years. When David Willcox of Willcox Associates Architects was commissioned to design a series of contemporary, environmentally-conscious townhouses in the town, he was originally met with considerable resistance from the local community. Rising to the challenge, Willcox has designed a contemporary townhouse development that has both introduced a fresh approach to building design in the region and has changed the way the locals think.
