New home designs - Going the distance

Seven kilometres of Linea® Weatherboard were used to build this country homestead. With rigorous attention to detail, Architect Warren Webb has designed a new home reflective of the grand farmhouses of the eastern United States – of simplicity, solidity and understated glamour. Here’s how.

Winding your way up the long, ribbon-like driveway etched into the hillside, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the sheer scale of this sprawling country homestead. Situated on 10 rolling acres at Pullenvale on the western outskirts of Brisbane city, it’s been a labour of love for its proud owners; a home designed to meet the ever-changing needs of Mum, Dad and their three still-growing boys. The result? A large but stylish family home reflective of the grand farmhouses of the eastern United States.
